Weekly Development Log #8 (Jose Gonzalez)
DeadShot! » Devlog
Hello everyone ! This is Jose Gonzalez and this is week number eight of the development of DeadShot!. Since it was a holiday weekend, I didn't have the time to work on the game that much, but I did squeeze in some work time.
Goals for the team this past week:
- As of late, we’re only missing the assets so that’s the main priority.
- Tweaking the enemies some more.
- Help out with the assets as much as possible.
Which of these Goals have been accomplished by the team?
- Brandon has been working on drawing out the assets that are needed for our project.
- Alex and I have been making some tweaks to the enemies and the level design. Still needs some more.
What are the team's goals for next week?
- Receive even more feedback from my fellow classmates.
- Taking the feedback and continuing to improve our craft with this project.
- Prepare ourselves for post production work.
What have you accomplished this past week?
- Adjust the enemies’ movement to try and prevent them from clipping through the ground.
- Trying to fit the shotgun sound effect when the player picks it up from the ground.
What will you accomplish by next week?
- The game should be completed by then as we are nearing the final presentation.
- All assets are to be finished.
- Cleaning up.
What will you need to learn to accomplish these goals?
- Continue to work even harder.
- Staying on top of everything that needs to be done.
